Ex Royal Air Force Engineering Technician (Airframe) by trade, Chris served for 8 years in the RAF with 2 years as ground crew on the Red Arrows as an airframe mechanic working on both 1st and 2nd line maintenance. A fantastic posting that was accompanied with plenty of travel as well as the opportunity to fly in the back seat of the Hawk jets.
After qualification as an airframe fitter this followed a tour on Tornado F3 aircraft with 11 Squadron at RAF Leeming. 11 Sqn again offered the opportunity of travel with exercises in Alaska, Florida, Oman and a stint in Saudi for Op Resinate South. Chris left the RAF to get married, settle down and run his own business in 2004.
The skills and experience gained while working on military aircraft have enabled him to succeed in the private sector aircraft business; working till the job is done with a constant drive for excellence. Chris is married to Mel and they have a son, two cats and a couple of rather mad dogs.
